ACCELERATE

Your Real Estate Business

Training You For Success

Don’t Be A Statistic

The attrition rates for real estate agents are high, with 75% failing in the first year and 87% within five years. The combination of a low entry barrier and unrealistic expectations, coupled with insufficient training, leads many agents to quit before they have barely begun. Being a real estate agent is not just a job or career; it is running a business. With the right knowledge and early training, your real estate business can thrive.

12 Weeks of Training to ACCELERATE Your Business

Real Estate

The core of the program is training agents on how to effectively "do" real estate. This includes working with buyers and sellers, writing contracts, marketing properties, and much more.

Getting Business

According to the National Association of REALTORS, 73% of newer agents say that finding clients is the most challenging aspect of the business. Gaining insight into what to do and what not to do is crucial in achieving that first sale.

Best Practices

Many agents struggle with time management, staying focused, and prioritizing tasks. Having solid systems in place can save time, money, and energy.

BHHS Resources

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty offers a full suite of tools and resources that save time and money, including a CRM, website, marketing resource center, and full-time administrative support.

FAQs

What Are You Looking for in an Agent?

ACCELERATE is limited to licensed agents who are committed to working in real estate full-time, running it like a business and not just a job. Personal characteristics should include being teachable, willing to collaborate, self-motivated, curious, thinking beyond the classroom, making class a priority, having strong computer skills, and upholding strong ethics.

Does the Training Cost Me Anything?

New agents face many upfront expenses. This is why some join a team immediately to receive training and leads, but they often have to share a large portion of their commission for as long as they remain on that team, making it challenging to break away. The ACCELERATE training program is designed to help agents build their own business, avoiding the ongoing expense of being on a team. Agents in the ACCELERATE program will only share their commission on their first four transactions, after which they keep their full earnings (besides typical brokerage split).

Can Any Agent Participate in ACCELERATE?

Mike Holland (Managing Broker) and Jill Thomas (Trainer) will interview agents interested in participating in ACCELERATE at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty. The goal is to identify those agents who will embrace the training and resources offered, ensuring the program's success for both individuals and the group. To add the most value, each class will be limited to 8 agents.

I Am a New Agent, Would I Qualify?

You don’t need to have been licensed for a long time to participate. Having the right skills and attitude, and being open to learning, are most important. Before you can join ACCELERATE, you must have your Florida Real Estate License, completed the MLS classes at RASM, joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty, and attended the BHHS new agent orientation. If you are in the process of getting your license, feel free to contact Mike or Jill to set up an interview. A new class begins every 3-4 months. If you qualify, you can join the next available class.
